Hungry

hungry poem

A poem

I’m hungry – of you, of your body

For sure, with all my breaths and atoms.

I want you – an island of no remorse.

And then you lose the body, you lose

The conscience

Having devoured all.

I know what you are thinking now,
what a pity, what a disgrace.

Oh well, I’ll say.

You don’t understand that you will be overwhelmed by the sudden joy of only one instant of love.
